How small is a micron?
To appreciate how precise our micronic filters must be in order to block the passage of a micronic particle while allowing free flow of the fluid, it’s important to understand how extremely small these micronic particles are.
Did you know?
1 micron = One Millionth of a Meter
1 micron = 39 Millionths of an Inch
The smallest particle visible to a normal human eye is 40 times as large as one micron.
The proportion of one micron to one inch is the same proportion as the width of a blade of grass (1/8”) to the full length of a regulation football gridiron!
